Hey there, I'm Chance and this is my portfolio. I’ve been designing thoughtful things for the internet and screens since 2007. Presently, I push pixels at Apple. Previously, I did UI and product things with Big Cartel.

At heart I am a curious tinkerer—always observing, learning, breaking, scheming, designing, making. I have a strong affection for minimalism, typography, grids, restraint and good user experience.

In 2010 I began working on a side project, Criblo, that aims to make apartment hunting simple and enjoyable. Criblo is slated to launch locally in mid 2011. As a result, I am currently not accepting freelance.

On a personal note, I was born and raised in the mighty midwest and call Columbus, Ohio the San Francisco Bay Area home. Away from the screen I spend my time exploring life with my wife and our kitty. I love burritos, bikes, books, boarding, movies, music, games, mountains, oceans and Jesus.
